Dedicated to creating an environment where people, organizations and networks can thrive.
RATHÚ represents both the culmination of my work over the past three decades as well as my vision for the years ahead.
I believe in the value of:
I am committed to:
My work is strengthened by my diverse experiences. As a successful theatre producer, I developed keen insight into how people (creative teams, audiences, and characters on stage) relate to each other. As an executive director, I honed my strategic, leadership skills as I rebuilt two organizations that were nearly defunct and I led two others to achieve their greatest period of financial growth and programmatic success. And as a consultant and trusted coach, I have inspired and galvanized the energy of imaginative high-achievers to co-create innovative work that is in direct response to local, statewide and national needs.
Let's work together.
I believe in the value of:
- listening hard and asking tough questions;
- engaging diverse voices in important conversations;
- taking time to identify and build consensus on what matters most; and
- bold incrementalism.
I am committed to:
- creating highly-customized work;
- balancing visionary goals with realistic capacity;
- exploring all options with a growth mindset so that we can activate and leverage the strongest opportunities.

A bit more about me . . .
I am an organizational strategist, coach and facilitator with 30 years of experience working in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector. I have worked for many high-performing organizations with wide-ranging missions including community building, the arts, disaster response, philanthropy, sustainability, healthcare, and education.
Prior to launching my consulting practice in 2012, I served as the executive director for the American Liver Foundation Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and as a Creative Producer for four professional theatre companies (3 nonprofits and 1 commercial company).
Much of my career was spent working in the professional theatre having produced over 125 productions throughout New York City, New Jersey, Belfast, Dublin, London, Edinburgh, and Australia; primarily world premieres, but also as an assistant producer for three Broadway shows and several National Tours.
I have been an active nonprofit Board member, recently served as a member of NYC’s Regional Planning Authority’s Tri-State Committee on the Fourth Regional Plan, and have been an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, the University of Nevada/Las Vegas, and Hofstra University.
Born and raised in Queens, NYC, I hold dual citizenship – Irish and American, and from 2008 to 2012 I lived and worked in Ireland. During this time of living in the land of writers, scholars and braggarts, I achieved one of my goals of becoming a published poet.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s College /University of Notre Dame, and successfully completed two executive education certificate programs: Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business—Executive Education Program for Nonprofit Leaders (focus on strategy and leadership), and Rutgers University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance.
